This scene is when the family is in the car and the Grandmother is about to tell her story about Mr. Edgar Atkins Teagarden.

¨Oh no, here she goes again with one of her boring stories about her life. She could at least switch it up a little and tell a story about something else that is not about her boring life. I remember when we were sitting outside the house and she started telling us a story and I fell asleep. I was just so tired, and when I woke up she got mad and stopped talking to me for the rest of the day. I think it was last Tuesday or Monday. Either way, it wasn´t as hot as it is today. I hate hot days they make me all sweaty and tired. I really, really hope the climate is better in Florida, because if not, I will not enjoy it as much. Neither will the baby. When we get there I need to check his temperature. When I touch him I feel him hotter than usual. I hope the baby isn´t sick, like the time John Wesley got sick, when he was a baby. Bailey was so worried, I think it was the time I saw him the most worried in all our life together. Wait, no, I´ve seen him more worried before, I just can´t remember when. I think it was right after we got married and found out our car was stolen. Yes, I’m pretty sure that was it. I remember that day I was wearing that pink dress that I think I still have in the closet. I don´t know why is still have it. I don´t think it even looks good on me anymore, because last time I wore it was like what, 2 years ago? Yeah more or less, because I wore it for this dinner party we had, and Bailey´s mom told me I looked fat. I´m sorry but she can´t call me fat, because I’ve seen pictures of her when she was around my age and she wasn´t particularly skinny herself. I am not the kind of person that is going to tell her that anyways.
I think that it is great that you gave us an example from a different point-of-view, the Mother. Ambitious and creative... yet one question I would like you to answer and write a little about... When we are remembering things, thinking them to ourselves, do we actually say, in our heads, "I remember"? How then (ok, two questions), how then does this fit in with stream of conscious writing.

I really hope that the grandkids are going to enjoy this house. Oh no no don’t go there kitty! No not on my son! Oh no we are getting out of the road! Where am I? Is this heaven? No it can’t be, it’s the car, oh God we had an accident! Is everyone ok, where’s the cat, oh my God I am sure that my son is going to kill it now! He surely will. He never liked it. The children are talking; they are ok! Oh thank God. Oh my stomach hurts; let’s hope that Baliey will not be so mad at me. Not right now at least. Oh why did I have to buy that cat back in Louisiana, it was such a bad idea. Oh but I could never resist little cute animals. I remember when I was a little girl and I used to have this horse. No, I could never resist animals. Oh little kitty. Oh!
